Module 1: Automate Data Entry into a Legacy App
Overview
The first use case that NTO has come up with to be automated is related to the invoice handling. Their legacy Financial System, built on Java lots years ago, needs to be updated with summary information about all received invoices. Right now, they have a team opening and extracting the needed data from the invoices and entering it manually in the Financial System.
The data requested by the Financial System is a summary of what’s contained in the invoice:
The Invoice number, dates and Purchase Order and the Total (in Module 2).
MuleSoft RPA has been identified as the right product to automate this process.
